Designed to inspire wonder and learning, this centre sets a new benchmark of architectural excellence for early learning in Sydney. An indoor cubby, reading nooks, a music room, ceiling sculptures, a mini soccer field – these are just some of the features that make the centre a magical place for its 145 children. The ginormous cubby – a two-storey structure with overhanging canopy and suspended birds – sits beneath a central atrium skylight that floods the space with light, and invites the outdoors in.
On the ground floor, the centre’s younger children have access to separate indoor and outdoor learning spaces, an arts and crafts room and a range of specialty facilities designed to inspire curiosity and encourage learning through play. Classrooms on the first floor accommodate the centre’s pre-schoolers, with access to interactive and school-ready programs such as cooking and digital technology. Underground parking provides direct lift access to the first-floor preschool area as well as the centre’ kiosk and foyer area.
From its acoustically panelled music room and automated feature lighting system, to its forest-inspired sculptures and towering windows, this centre is a celebration of design, the arts, and nature – a magical place for children and visitors alike.
